How can the electrical energy be transferred from the source to the energy storage system (ESS)
The available solar energy is very precious. It is not enough to simply store energy in the battery and deliver it to the load through the inverter. First of all, the efficiency of collecting electrical energy must be high enough; then, the electrical energy must be delivered to the energy storage subsystem through a high-quality controller.Power plants use solar renewable energy and convert it through transformers to higher voltages for efficient transmission over long distances. High-voltage electricity is transmitted over long distances through power lines and grid infrastructure to minimize energy losses. Substations reduce voltage for local distribution of electricity to homes and businesses. In situations where energy storage systems (ESS) use different voltages or energy storage technologies, the power may need to be converted. ESS receives and stores electrical energy during charging and releases it to the grid or specific loads when needed.
